We had only seen Oliver 5 days before when we were visiting and knew he had some exploratory surgery booked on that day, however the outcome was not what everyone hoped and they made the toughest decision of their lives to let him go so he he was free from pain.Born 25th November 2004, Oliver went to live with John & Suzy as a show prospect, however his mouth did not come right. This was not what we had all hoped for especially as Oliver was a super boy with the most fantastic head. He did however take the Companion Dog Show circuit by storm winning over everyone whom he came into contact with. Oliver was known by his nickname (Lol-Lol) had the most amazing and loving character and has been responsible many times over for people falling in love with the breed and often getting their first Spinone themselves. His party trick was to gently back himself up on you so he could sit on your knee and get a cuddle and he was always telling you a story with his deep gruff in his voice which is so typical of this breed. Oliver was definitely a Show Champion in the making but it was not to be.We would like to thank both John & Suzy for giving Oliver the most fantastic 7 years and we could not have wished for him to go to a more loving home.We will miss you Lol-Lol but you are free to run without anymore pain.......sleep well big lad xxxOlivers pics To see all content, you will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it. |
